Gluten free foods and menu options are popping up all over the place. Whether you have Celiac Disease, are gluten-sensitive, or just want to eat more gluten free, there are plenty of restaurant and bakery options for you to choose from, especially if you live in the foodie city of Portland. In Portland, Oregon, you can go to almost any restaurant and find gluten free options on the menu. For those of us who are either sensitive to gluten or prefer to eat gluten free, that is wonderful news! It definitely makes eating out much easier and that much more enjoyable. I could give you a big long list of great places to check out, but that would be multiple pages long. However, if you have celiac disease, like my niece in Colorado, your options are a bit smaller. Luckily, here in Portland, we are so food-centric, that I was able to find a nice list of eateries that are 100% gluten free! (Please note that these establishments may change their menus and you should check with them first to guarantee that they are truly gluten-free).
Now, if we could get more coffee & tea shops to go gluten free too…Sometimes it’s just nice to enjoy a scone or another kind of pastry with your coffee or tea.
Do you know of other 100% gluten free places to eat? Please share.
